Guidelines for Choosing the appropriate level for WSET Courses
Level 1:

Completely new to the beverage
Level 2:

Able to recall some factual information of wine/sake production but never learnt in a systematic way (e.g. how environmental factors, grape-growing, winemaking and maturation options influence the style and quality of wines)
Level 3:

Aged 18 or above

It is recommended that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge with the correct use of WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT).
